Newton Health Care Center is a 202 bed facility licensed as a skilled nursing facility. We became part of the Healthbridge family in 2003.

In order to meet the needs of those people we serve, Newton Health Care Center offers three clinical Programs.

Our long term care unit strives to provide a high quality of life in a dignity preserving atmosphere. This is achieved through a combination of skilled clinical support services, comfortable surroundings with a complete dinning program and a strong commitment to therapeutic recreation and activities.

The Memory-Impairment Program specializes in the care of individuals with advanced stages of dementia. We strive to be in compliance with the Alzheimer Association guidelines. Part of our unit even includes a circular floor plan which allows people to walk freely and undisturbed. We also have an outside courtyard. All areas of our program emphasize safety and security for your loved one.

The Transitional Care Unit is the most medically complex unit. This is geared to people just coming from the hospital, that need more skilled nursing care or therapies. We can supply physical, occupational, respiratory and speech therapy.
